Dubai: H.E. Sheikha Al Mansoori, Acting Director-General of Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, has received a French delegation led by HE Nathalie Kennedy, Consul General of the French Republic in Dubai.

The two sides discussed ways to share expertise, boost cooperation in areas related to protecting women and children, and exchanged views over a number of topics of mutual concern.
Welcoming the delegation to the foundation, Al Mansoori lauded the visit, saying it demonstrates the keenness of foreign diplomatic missions in the UAE to learn about the country’s experience in protecting women and children against all forms of violence and how it successfully confronted human trafficking crimes.
She emphasized that compared to other nations, the UAE has the lowest rate of human trafficking crimes, which can be attributed to the wise leadership's commitment to upholding everyone's rights via legislation, regulations, and effective policies.
Al Mansoori expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the French Consul and the accompanying delegation for their visit, adding that the foundation will continue to build bridges of cooperation and fruitful coordination with all public and private entities to achieve the global sustainable development goals of ending all forms of violence against women and children and eliminating trafficking crimes.
During the visit, the French delegation was briefed on the key services provided by the foundation, as well as its work mechanisms and its direct collaboration with many sovereign and legal authorities in the country, considering the significance of the work the DFWAC carries out. The French delegation concluded its visit with a tour of the various facilities of the Foundation, including the Department of Care and Rehabilitation.
