Sharjah: The Consulate General of India, Dubai in association with Skyline University, Sharjah and Sports Council of Sharjah will be celebrating the 9th International Day of Yoga on Sunday, 18 June 2023 between 1830 to 2030 hrs at Skyline University Sharjah campus. This year we will be celebrating yoga day with larger participation under the theme  "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the idea that the world is one family. By promoting the practice of yoga, we can strengthen unity and harmony across cultures, religions, and geographies, and move towards a more peaceful and inclusive world. 

With the expected participation of around 5,000 residents from Dubai and northern Emirates, entry to the event will be completely free. The key highlight of the event is bringing together the frontline workers, including nurses, students, Indians as well as International community in the UAE. Dr. Aman Puri, Consul General of India to Dubai and Northern Emirates will be the Chief Guest along with Special guests from Government of Sharjah. Prominent personalities will be sharing their Yoga experience by demonstration of Yoga practices in this event.
