Doha: In a gracious and heartwarming reception, the Telangana Welfare Association Qatar (TWAQ) embraced the esteemed presence of HE. Shri Vipul, the newly appointed Ambassador of India to Qatar, on September 11, 2023. The gathering witnessed the active participation of TWAQ's dedicated committee members who eagerly took this opportunity to elucidate the association's significant initiatives.

Amid the splendid setting at their headquarters, the TWAQ members conveyed their warm felicitations to H.E. Shri Vipul, emphasizing the strong bond that exists between the Indian community in Qatar and the embassy.

HE. Shri Vipul, who recently assumed his role as India's Ambassador to Qatar, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and extended his commitment to strengthening the already robust India-Qatar relationship.

The Telangana Welfare Association Qatar, with its rich history of community service, plays a vital role in fostering social cohesion among Telangana expatriates in Qatar. The association focuses on various activities, including cultural events, educational programs, and charitable endeavors that contribute positively to both the Indian and Qatari societies.

During the meeting, the committee members elaborated on TWAQ's past accomplishments and their plans. The association's commitment to promoting Indian culture and heritage while actively engaging in social welfare activities was highlighted.

President of TWAQ, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Rauf, Chairman of TWA Q Mr. Khaja Nizamuddin & committee members shared their enthusiasm for the association's continuous growth and its aim to serve the Telangana community and the larger expatriate population in Qatar.

"Telangana Welfare Association Qatar has always been a beacon of unity and goodwill," Mr. Mohammed Abdul Rauf remarked. "We are delighted to have Mr. Vipul amongst us today, and we look forward to working closely with the Indian Embassy to further enhance the well-being of our community here in Qatar."

In response, Ambassador Vipul applauded TWAQ's dedication and pledged his full support in fostering strong ties between the Indian Embassy and the Telangana community in Qatar.
