Dubai: The Nad Al Sheba Police Station organized sports and community activities for students with determination, coinciding with the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025, which aims to promote physical activity and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

The event was conducted in collaboration with Sanad Village, the American School of Creative Science, the Positive Spirit Council, and the Empowerment Council for People of Determination.

Brigadier Mohammed Obaid bin Hamidan, Director of the Nad Al Sheba Police Station, witnessed the inauguration of the sports activities alongside his deputy, Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Saqr Al Marri, Lieutenant Colonel Samir Muslim Al Mahrazi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Section, and Ms. Fatima Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council and member of the People of Determination Empowerment Council. The event also featured the participation of over 168 individuals, including students, volunteers, and representatives from the collaborating organizations.

Brig. Mohammed Obaid bin Hamidan remarked, "Dubai Police is dedicated to supporting and organizing sports and community initiatives that enhance the quality of life and promote fitness and health among all segments of society, particularly for people of determination, who are an integral part of our community. “This event aligns with the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025, which aims to make sports a way of life. It serves as a platform to emphasize the importance of physical activity and healthy living, engaging everyone and paving the way for comprehensive and sustainable initiatives."

Meanwhile, Ms. Fatima Buhajeer stated, "This event exemplifies the collaboration between the government and private sectors in supporting people of determination and engaging them in sports and community activities. It aligns with Dubai Police's objectives to promote values of inclusion, unity, and social harmony."

Ms. Buhajeer reaffirmed their commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance mental health and promote social inclusion for people of determination. She continued, “This includes creating opportunities that foster personal development, boost self-confidence, and help individuals achieve greater accomplishments in their lives. These efforts align with Dubai Police's strategic goals of promoting community happiness and support the national policy for empowering people of determination, as well as Dubai's initiative, 'My Community…A Place for Everyone', making the emirate fully inclusive for people of determination.”

The events featured a walking activity on the Ghaf Walkway, cycling, the distribution of gifts, and a display of luxury patrol vehicles, along with Dubai Police’s mascot, Officer Mansour, who brought joy to the occasion.
