Abdulla Al Marri: The UAE Continues Zayed\'s Humanitarian Legacy and Instils a Culture of Giving

Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, affirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Day represents a deeply rooted national occasion through which the United Arab Emirates recalls the noble human values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the nation's people — values founded on giving, solidarity, and human compassion.

Al Marri stated: "The UAE's celebration of this occasion reaffirms the continuity of the humanitarian approach established by the founding leader, and reinforces the nation's message of spreading goodness and promoting humanitarian work locally and globally. These values are an integral part of the nation's developmental and humanitarian journey, under the leadership of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which continues to consolidate the UAE's position as one of the world's foremost supporters of humanitarian and relief work."

He noted that humanitarian work constitutes a fundamental pillar in building cohesive and secure societies, and that the sustainability of giving is a shared responsibility requiring concerted efforts between government institutions, the private sector, and community members to instil the culture of generosity and solidarity that distinguishes UAE society.

Al Marri reaffirmed that Dubai Police draws inspiration from this occasion to embody the values of community responsibility and humanitarian work, and remains committed to advancing initiatives of goodness and giving in line with the nation's vision of supporting human dignity and enhancing quality of life. He highlighted that the principles established by the late Sheikh Zayed continue to serve as a driving force for strengthening community partnerships and actively contributing to humanitarian and charitable efforts that serve society and support the most vulnerable groups.
