Dubai: Dubai Police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UiPath company to enhance cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

The MoU was signed by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed bin Fahad, Acting Director of the Smart Applications Department at Dubai Police's General Department of Artificial Intelligence (AI), on behalf of Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of AI, and Mr. Daniel Dines, CEO of UiPath.

The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in key police operations supported by emerging technologies and to develop joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest.

Furthermore, the MoU includes developing an AI and emerging technology roadmap, creating a multi-track diploma programme in AI and emerging technologies, providing assistive AI tools and programmes, and establishing joint working groups and committees to achieve the agreement's objectives. Future areas of cooperation may also be explored by mutual agreement.
