Dubai: In celebration of the “Proud of UAE” campaign, Dubai Police joined residents across Dubai’s neighbourhoods in a vibrant display of national pride, marking the occasion by sharing the UAE flag with the community.

The initiative comes in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aimed at strengthening national identity and deepening the values of loyalty and belonging among community members.

Organised by the General Department of Community Happiness, the initiative transformed residential areas into scenes of celebration, as Dubai Police teams distributed flags and engaged directly with residents. The activities featured luxury patrols, mounted units, and Dubai Police personnel, alongside the popular mascots “Mansour” and “Amna,” who added a lively and family-friendly atmosphere.

Volunteers from the “Neighbourhood Police” initiative, part of the Community Relations Department, contributed to the effort by distributing flags and interacting with residents. Their participation reflected a strong sense of unity and highlighted the role of volunteer work in advancing national initiatives.

Through such initiatives, Dubai Police continue to reinforce community partnership, promote positive engagement, and support the UAE’s broader vision of a cohesive society and sustainable quality of life.
