Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the 'School Security' initiative, organized field events to welcome students back to in‑person learning by distributing the UAE flag, aiming to strengthen students' sense of belonging and pride in their national identity.

The events created a joyful, interactive atmosphere that brought happiness to students and parents alike, leaving a positive impression of the school environment on the first day of in-person classes.

Dubai Police secured traffic flow around schools across the emirate, in coordination with the General Department of Traffic, the General Department of Operations, and the General Department of Police Stations. This was carried out through field patrols, traffic regulation, and ensuring student safety during drop-off and pick-up times.

The events also featured several luxury patrols from Dubai Police's Tourist Police fleet stationed near schools, which drew enthusiastic responses from students and created a unique blend of joy, awareness, and positive police-community engagement.

Captain Majed Bin Saed Al Kaabi, Head of the 'School Security' initiative, stated that the initiative reflects Dubai Police's commitment to providing a safe and motivating educational environment from the very first day of school, integrating security, organizational, and community efforts into a comprehensive framework.

He added that welcoming students with flags aims to reinforce their sense of belonging and national pride, while the presence of patrols and traffic management in front of schools demonstrates Dubai Police's dedication to reassuring students and parents, as well as promoting traffic awareness and public safety.

Capt. Al Kaabi also noted that the initiative aims to build positive relationships with students and strengthen the image of police officers as accessible community partners. He emphasized that bringing joy to students through positive experiences is an integral part of Dubai Police's mission to serve the community and improve quality of life.
