Al Khawaneej Police Station Delivers 99.7% Security Coverage as Dubai Police Strengthen Community Safety

Dubai: Dubai Police have highlighted the strong operational performance of Al Khawaneej Police Station following an inspection visit by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.

The visit, part of the annual inspection programme, focused on evaluating service quality, operational readiness, and the station’s contribution to enhancing safety and quality of life across one of Dubai’s rapidly growing areas.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri was accompanied by senior leadership, including Major General Hareb Mohammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs, Major General Eid Mohammad Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, Brigadier Majed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, Brigadier Sultan Al Owais, Deputy Director for Deira Police Stations Affairs, Brigadier Ali Al Ketbi, Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, Brigadier Dr Ibrahim Bin Saba, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering, Brigadier Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Inspection and Control Department, Lieutenant Colonel Dr Abdulrazzaq Abdulrahim, Head of the Inspection Section, along with a number of officers.

Serving more than 244,000 residents across a jurisdiction spanning approximately 1,272 square kilometres, Al Khawaneej Police Station plays a vital role in safeguarding a diverse area that includes residential communities, schools, healthcare facilities, government entities, and commercial centres.

Performance results for 2025 underline this role, with the station achieving an exceptional 99.7% security coverage rate, alongside a 98.2% customer happiness score. These results reflect a high level of efficiency, responsiveness, and community trust.

Dubai Police continue to prioritise rapid response to emergencies and proactive policing, ensuring services are delivered swiftly and in line with the highest international standards.

During the visit, Lt. Gen. Al Marri emphasised that the station represents a forward looking model of policing, driven by innovation, smart technologies, and artificial intelligence to enhance safety and service quality.

He noted that such performance reflects the professionalism of the teams and their ability to handle diverse challenges, reaffirming that Dubai Police remain committed to continuous development through innovation, proactivity, and speed of achievement, further strengthening Dubai’s position as one of the safest cities in the world with a high quality of life.
