Dubai: The Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in Dubai has announced the restoration of its regular operating hours, effective from Saturday, June 20, 2026, following a period of reduced timings implemented during regional tensions.

In an official announcement, the gurudwara management said worshippers will once again be able to access the premises from 4:30am to 8:30pm, returning to the schedule that was in place before the conflict-related restrictions.

Earlier, the gurudwara had operated on limited hours, remaining open daily from 6am to 6pm, with the last entry permitted at 5:30pm, as a precautionary measure during the regional conflict.

The management also confirmed that all routine religious and community programmes will resume according to the regular schedule, providing relief and convenience to devotees who regularly visit the place of worship.

During the period of heightened tensions in the region, several places of worship temporarily shifted some of their activities online and later reopened with restricted timings to ensure the safety and well-being of visitors.

With the regional situation showing signs of stability and normalcy returning across the UAE, the Guru Nanak Darbar has now decided to fully restore its services. The move comes as residents and religious institutions across the country gradually return to regular operations following the easing of regional concerns.

The announcement has been welcomed by members of the Sikh community, who can now once again participate in prayers and religious activities under the gurudwara’s normal schedule.
