Dubai: Dubai Police General Command, the Community Development Authority (CDA), and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) organised the joint Instant Employment Fair at the new Hatta Majlis. The event was held as part of the 'Sawaed Al Watan' (Arms of the Nation) initiative, which aims to empower citizens by providing access to distinctive job opportunities and enhancing their integration into the labour market, in line with the Dubai Government's efforts to support economic participation and achieve financial independence for Emirati families.

The fair was attended by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness; Brigadier Rashid Nasser, Director of the General Department of Human Resources at Dubai Police; Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector at CDA; Colonel Hamad bin Dafous Al Mansouri, Director of the Selection and Recruitment Department at Dubai Police's General Department of Human Resources; Abdulaziz Al Falahi, General Supervisor of Recruitment Operations at EHRDC; and a number of officers.

Attracting National Talent
Brigadier Ali Al Mansouri stated that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to attract national talent and create sustainable job opportunities that contribute to building a qualified workforce capable of supporting the journey of development and institutional excellence.

He added that the initiative also provides a supportive environment for job seekers, preparing and guiding them towards opportunities that match their qualifications and capabilities, thereby enhancing their readiness to join the labour market.

Platforms
Brig. Al Mansouri explained that the fair featured platforms from Dubai Police, CDA, and EHRDC, aimed at introducing job seekers to available opportunities, attracting national talent, and offering career guidance and counselling to enhance their readiness for the labour market. “This supports Dubai's objectives of empowering citizens and strengthening their economic participation,” he added.

Appreciation
Brig. Al Mansouri expressed his appreciation to the Community Development Authority and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council for their cooperation and participation in the initiative.

He noted that the initiative is distinguished by providing immediate job opportunities for young Emiratis, while also reaching them in their local communities through neighbourhood majlis across various areas of Dubai, thereby enhancing their employment prospects

Practical Opportunities
Meanwhile, Maitha Al Shamsi affirmed that the Instant Employment Fair in Hatta reflects the Authority's commitment to transforming social empowerment into practical and sustainable opportunities. “This is achieved through the Dubai Empowerment Programme, which focuses on supporting employable citizens and connecting them with job opportunities that match their abilities and qualifications, enhancing their economic independence and active participation in society and the labour market.

Government Integration
Al Shamsi added: "The 'Sawaed Al Watan' initiative represents a model of government integration in developing empowerment pathways that respond to the needs of the local community and bring job opportunities closer to citizens across Dubai. The partnership with Dubai Police and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council reflects the importance of unifying efforts to align national talent with labour market needs, supporting economic stability and quality of life, and translating the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 in empowering citizens and enhancing their participation in development."

Unifying Efforts
For his part, Abdulaziz Al Falahi said that the joint employment initiative embodies the spirit of strategic partnership among government entities in unifying efforts and empowering national talent, in line with the wise leadership's vision of investing in people as the foundation of sustainable development.
