Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation, will participate with a dedicated platform at Arabian Travel Market 2026, which opens on Monday at Dubai World Trade Centre with wide participation from organisations, institutions and companies specialising in tourism and travel from around the world.
Dubai Police’s participation reflects its commitment to maintaining an active presence at specialised events and exhibitions, while introducing residents and visitors to the security and smart services it provides.
The platform will also highlight the role of the Tourist Police in providing visitors with a safe and positive tourism experience and strengthening communication with tourists and partners across the tourism sector.
Connecting with the Tourism Sector
Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, said Dubai Police’s annual participation in Arabian Travel Market reflects its commitment to maintaining an active presence at major local, regional and international events.
He highlighted the importance of such platforms in enabling direct communication with different segments of society and visitors, while building stronger partnerships with organisations operating across vital sectors.
He noted that tourism and travel are among Dubai’s strategic sectors, making continued engagement and cooperation with industry partners particularly important.
More Than an Exhibition Presence
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Abdulrahman, Director of the Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation, said Dubai Police aims for its participation in major exhibitions and events to go beyond a traditional presence.
“Our participation provides a platform to communicate, raise awareness and introduce visitors to our security and smart services and initiatives, while listening to customers and understanding their needs and expectations,” he said.
He added that the exhibition also provides an opportunity to highlight Dubai Police’s work with its partners to strengthen the security and safety of tourists and provide proactive and smart services that make their experience in Dubai easier, safer and happier.
Smart Services for Visitors
Visitors to the Dubai Police platform will be able to explore a range of smart services related to tourist security, including the Dubai Police app, Circulars and Travel Bans service, Police Eye, Tourist Support service, and the Smart Lost and Found system.
The platform will also showcase offers and benefits provided through the Esaad Card Centre.
Visitors can also benefit from awareness sessions covering cybercrime prevention, tourist security and online fraud, alongside information about other Dubai Police services.
