Abu Dhabi: Imagine a comedian so relatable that every punchline feels like a conversation with your closest friend - except this friend has somehow lived through your school years, your family WhatsApp group, and that one terrible career decision, and turned all of it into a set. That's Anubhav Singh Bassi, India's most beloved comedian, and on 21 November he brings his hit show ‘Kisi Ko Batana Mat’ to Etihad Arena, Yas Island, as part of Abu Dhabi Comedy Season.
If you already know Bassi, you know the drill: he walks out looking like he's about to explain why he's late, and forty minutes later you're wiping tears over a story about his hilarious and painful misadventures getting a full-body wax or a UPSC exam he was never going to pass.
