Jakarta/Singapore: Families in Indonesia and Singapore will have a new way to celebrate the 2027 Lebaran (Hari Raya Aidilfitri) festive season, with StarCruises announcing special round-trip cruises connecting Jakarta and Singapore aboard the Star Voyager.

The cruise line will introduce special four-night round-trip sailings between Jakarta, via Tanjung Priok, and Singapore, giving families and friends an opportunity to combine their festive holiday with a cruise experience.

The special cruises will depart from Jakarta on March 7 and 11, 2027, while departures from Singapore are scheduled for March 5, 9 and 13, 2027.

Timed to coincide with the Lebaran holiday period, the sailings are designed to provide families and loved ones with an alternative way to spend their festive break, combining travel, accommodation, dining, entertainment and activities in one holiday experience.

A Different Way to Celebrate Lebaran

Rather than arranging flights, hotels, meals and activities separately, passengers can enjoy much of their holiday onboard Star Voyager. Guests can settle into their cabins, enjoy onboard dining and entertainment, participate in activities and spend quality time together while sailing between the two cities.

Holiday Starts in Jakarta or Singapore

For many Muslim families, Lebaran is a time centred around family, togetherness and taking a break. The Star Voyager sailings offer travellers the opportunity to make the journey itself part of their holiday.

Passengers boarding in Jakarta can sail to Singapore and explore attractions such as Orchard Road, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa, along with the city's diverse dining and family entertainment options.

Travellers departing from Singapore can instead discover Jakarta, with opportunities to experience the Indonesian capital's shopping, dining, cultural attractions and vibrant city life.

Following their destination visit, passengers can return to the ship and sail back to their original departure point, offering a convenient round-trip holiday experience.

Halal Dining Available Onboard

Food is an important part of the Lebaran celebration, and Star Voyager will offer a range of Asian and international dining options.

A dedicated halal dining section at the Lido restaurant will also be available onboard, providing Muslim passengers with greater convenience when planning their meals during the cruise.

Entertainment and Activities for the Whole Family

The cruise will offer a range of entertainment and recreational activities designed for different age groups.

Families can enjoy live international stage performances, a Red Carpet Gala evening with the Captain and international entertainers, music and dancing, BBQ parties and spa experiences.

Younger passengers can enjoy the pool and waterslides, zipline and wall climbing, while the Little Dreamers facility will provide children with a dedicated space to play and explore.

Additional Sailing Options

Beyond the special Lebaran round-trip cruises, Star Voyager will also offer additional one-way sailings between Singapore and Jakarta around the March 2027 schedule.

A two-night one-way cruise from Singapore to Jakarta will depart on March 5, 2027, ahead of the Jakarta sailings.

Following the final Jakarta sailing, passengers can also extend their cruise experience with a two-night one-way cruise from Jakarta to Singapore, departing on March 15, 2027.

These additional services provide greater flexibility for travellers who want to sail between the two cities as part of a longer holiday or use the cruise as an alternative way to travel between Jakarta and Singapore.
