Dubai: The Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police General Command, in collaboration with the General Department of Police Stations, represented by Al Barsha Police Station, organised awareness activities for 670 workers in the Dubai Marina area. The initiative is part of Dubai Police's ongoing efforts to strengthen security, traffic, and community awareness across all segments of society, delivering awareness messages directly to community members in their locations.

The activities covered a range of topics and awareness messages aimed at raising security awareness among the labour community, familiarising them with behaviours and practices that contribute to their safety and security, and promoting the importance of complying with laws and regulations. They learned about the Dubai Police's services and communication channels for requesting assistance and reporting various cases and observations.

The initiative reflects the Positive Spirit Council's commitment to strengthening direct communication with workers, reinforcing the concept of community partnership, and involving all segments of society in the security and safety system, enhancing their sense of reassurance and quality of life, and affirming that community awareness is a key pillar of prevention and positive behaviour.

Ms. Fatima Ahmed Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, affirmed that the Council attaches great importance to reaching all segments of society, including the labour community, in recognition of their role as an important part of Dubai's social fabric.
