Sharjah: Dr Bu Abdullah has been invited as a Special Invitee for the inaugural match of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) Season 3, scheduled to take place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The opening match will see Australia Champions take on India Champions, with cricket legends David Warner and Yuvraj Singh leading the respective teams. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM UAE time.

Expressing his delight at receiving the special invitation, Dr Bu Abdullah said it was a proud moment to see the WCL, recognised as the second most-watched cricket league in the world, coming to the UAE.

The WCL has established itself as a platform that brings together some of the biggest legends of international cricket, offering fans the opportunity to see celebrated former stars return to competitive action.

Dr Bu Abdullah extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Puneet Singh, Dhirendra Raghav and the entire WCL family for bringing the prestigious cricket league to the UAE.
