Dubai: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, addressed a community event organised by the Consulate General of India, Dubai, in collaboration with the Indian People’s Forum (IPF), UAE, during his visit to Dubai.

During his interaction with members of the Indian community, Minister Meghwal expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions of the Indian diaspora towards strengthening the longstanding and close India-UAE relationship.

The Minister also acknowledged the important role played by the Indian community in promoting people-to-people ties and contributing to the social and economic development of the UAE.

The interaction provided an opportunity for community members to engage with the Minister and discuss matters concerning the welfare, interests and engagement of the Indian diaspora in the UAE.

Discussions also focused on ways to further enhance community outreach and strengthen engagement between the Indian government and the large Indian diaspora residing in the UAE.

The event reflected the continued importance of the Indian community as a strong bridge between India and the United Arab Emirates, further reinforcing the close and enduring bilateral ties between the two countries.
