Dubai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s name is set to grace one of Dubai’s prominent luxury real estate developments, with interior designer Gauri Khan bringing her signature style to the penthouses of Shahrukhz by Danube, a 56-storey skyscraper developed by Danube Group.

The multi-crore project was unveiled in November 2025 in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan and Danube Group Founder and Chairman Rizwan Sajan. The development reflects the vision of creating premium residential and business spaces for people looking to build their future in Dubai.

Speaking about the project, Shah Rukh Khan said he was inspired by the idea of creating a building for people who dream of establishing their businesses and homes in Dubai. He described the opportunity to be part of the project and inspire others as a great gift.

Gauri Khan and her design team have been working closely with Danube Group to shape the interiors of the luxury development. Sharing her experience on Instagram, she said designing a project that carries her husband’s name was particularly meaningful to her.

Gauri Khan Brings Mansion-Style Luxury to Penthouses

The renowned designer has been creating the penthouse interiors with a focus on combining the grandeur of a mansion with the convenience and practicality of apartment living.

The design features spacious living areas, statement kitchens, bespoke Italian furniture, walk-in wardrobes and premium finishes. Large windows and expansive waterfront views further enhance the sense of luxury, while carefully selected furnishings and decorative elements create a comfortable residential atmosphere.

Gauri Khan said she enjoyed collaborating with the project team to ensure that every corner of the penthouses felt luxurious while retaining the warmth and comfort of a home.

Shah Rukh Khan also joined Gauri Khan and Adel Sajan in a promotional video for the development, where the Bollywood star summed up the project’s luxurious appeal with the phrase, “Live life King size.”

Inside a Fully Furnished One-Bedroom Apartment

Danube Properties has also shared images of a fully furnished one-bedroom apartment at Shahrukhz, showcasing the development’s contemporary interior design.

The kitchen features marble flooring, white cabinetry and gold-finished fittings. Concealed ceiling lighting and a striking chandelier above the dining table add to the apartment’s elegant appearance.

The adjoining living room follows an open-plan layout, with hardwood flooring, a white sofa against a statement wall, a complementary rug and a blue accent sofa. A television unit is positioned opposite the seating area, creating a functional and stylish living space.

The living room opens onto a balcony offering panoramic views of the blue waterfront, adding to the apartment’s appeal.

With its high-rise architecture, luxury interiors and celebrity association, Shahrukhz by Danube is positioned as a distinctive addition to Dubai’s premium property market, combining contemporary urban living with Gauri Khan’s design vision.
