Dubai: Things are getting creepy across Dubai this Halloween, as Dubai Holding Entertainment brings together spine chilling scares, curious creatures and plenty of family fun across MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, The World of Riverland™ and The Green Planet™ Dubai until 31 October. As part of its Truly Amazing annual season, guests can expect everything from Fright Nights and Halloween parades to eco quests, trick or treating and unexpected encounters throughout the city.

MOTIONGATE™ Dubai
The fright factor is going all the way up with Fright Nights 9, as sinister faces, horror favourites and unexpected scares take over the park. Guests can step into chilling encounters inspired by The Mummy and The Strangers, while SAW brings its own twisted brand of horror to the Hollywood zone from 3:00pm to 7:15pm.

The scares continue across the park, with Dracula and the Ink Monster lurking around Columbia, while the haunting tale of La Llorona takes over Underworld. Studio Central gets even more sinister with a Vampire Takeover at 3:00pm and 4:15pm, followed by Scarecrow Grooves at 3:30pm and 4:45pm, before The Addams Family bring their wonderfully weird world to life at 6:00pm.

As darkness falls, Fright Nights 9 reaches its peak from 7:30pm onwards, as the Halloween parade unleashes a procession of frightful characters across the park for an evening of theatrical scares and surprises.

For little monsters who prefer their Halloween with more laughs than screams, familiar favourites are getting into the spooky spirit too. Guests can encounter the loveable monsters of Hotel Transylvania at Columbia, while Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and Shrek make appearances at DreamWorks, bringing a lighter side to the Halloween fun.

The World of Riverland™
The streets are getting spooky as Halloween brings a lively mix of monsters, street performances and unexpected encounters to every corner. The Boneyard Boys take over with a high energy street show, while roaming Monster Meet & Greets, Astronaut Meet & Greets, dazzling laser shows and adorable Baby Dino interactions make sure there is always something, or someone, waiting around the corner.

From Wednesday to Sunday, brave guests can Check in for Terror with a street show bringing a playful dose of fright to the destination, before the Halloween Parade takes over the streets to close out the day with a procession of spooky characters and Halloween energy.

The Green Planet™ Dubai
Halloween is also creeping into the rainforest at The Green Planet™ Dubai, where spooky decorations and a special Eco Quest will send little explorers on a mission through the biodome. Led by the destination’s Eco Rangers, families can take on The Green Planet™ Dubai’s AR gamification experience, searching for hidden QR codes and scanning them as they make their way across the four layers of the biodome. Along the way, little explorers can follow clues, solve riddles and put their senses to the test while discovering some of the rainforest’s fascinating residents, from curious meerkats and colourful toucans to Kendrick the Lemur and the Cotton top Tamarin.

Young explorers who complete the missions can collect badges along the way before ringing the golden bell to mark the end of their Eco Quest. Those who complete all the badges will also have the chance to win special prizes, adding an extra reward to their rainforest adventure.

The Halloween hunt continues with a rainforest scavenger hunt, taking little explorers between the Nature Park and JNGL restaurant as they follow clues, solve challenges and collect candy along the way. Children can also decorate their own Halloween treat bags before setting off, while Halloween face painting, puppets and mascot appearances add to the festivities.

Even the menu is getting a spooky makeover, with Halloween treats including the Monster Munch Burger, Spider’s Lair Pizza and Fright Night Hotdog available for hungry explorers after their rainforest adventure.
