Dubai:PepsiCo has announced a contribution of AED1 million to the Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19, which was launched by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai to support efforts to mitigate the health, economic and social repercussions of the pandemic.

PepsiCo’s contribution to the Fund reflects its keenness to fulfill its social responsibility and take part in the initiative to safeguard the wellbeing of the community.

The gesture also reflects the growing cooperation between individuals and the public and private sectors to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department praised the response of both the public and private sectors to the Community Solidarity Fund Against COVID-19, which is aligned with the directives of the leadership to support humanitarian work.
