Dubai:The Jebel Ali Police Station in Dubai has recently completed its strategic phase of bringing the station's premises and facilities to be 98.9% user-friendly for people of determination and in conformity with the Wosool service by Dubai Municipality.

Saif Juma Al Falasi, Chairman of the People of Determination Council at Dubai Police, affirmed the Council’s keenness to fulfil the instructions and directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police.

Saif Al Falasi pointed out that this achievement is a result of constructive cooperation between the Council, the General Department of Logistical Support and the Jebel Ali Police Station.

He confirmed that the Dubai Municipality on-field team has visited the station's premises and facilities to ensure its readiness to welcome people of determination per the Dubai Universal Design Code for People of Determination

“The Council also supports the strategic objectives of Dubai Police, mainly the Community Happiness, and the People of Determination Strategy 2016-2021", Al Falasi added.

Al Falasi noted that the people of determination friendly police station offers unique parking spaces, as well as guiding lines and Braille signage for the visually impaired. In addition to reception desks to communicate with people with hearing and visual impairments. He added that the police station also features (Labbeh) service which offers seven-star services to people of the determination at the comfort of their vehicles.
