Dubai: Fasting frontliners have been given Iftar meals as part of the Dubai Traffic Police initiative to thank the nation’s heroes who keep us safe against COVID-19.

The initiative team members have been distributing 500 Iftar meals on daily basis to frontliners across the emirate as part of an Iftar project that reflects the noble values of Islam and solidarity of all the UAE society in the holy month of Ramadan.

Brigadier Saif Muhair Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Traffic Department at Dubai Police, stated that they launched the initiative per the directives of His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, who ordered the force to show full support to the members of the first line of defence, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
