A Visit to the Expo Incomplete Without a Visit to BAPS Hindu Mandir

Abu Dhabi: As the world gathers in Dubai for Expo 2020, people are discovering the story of harmony behind the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. On 5 Oct 2021 as a part of their official trip to the Expo, a delegation of 35 people, organised by S.J.Haider, and led by Ms.Mamta Verma; Mr. Hareet Shukla; Mr. Rahul Gupta & Ms.Neelam Rani from the Government of Gujarat, visited the construction site of the BAPS Hindu Mandir,Abu Dhabi. Also as part of the visit, delegates partook in the “Rivers of Harmony exhibit” that had been organized at the site. The exhibit presents the harmonious purpose, history and construction of the BAPS Hindu Mandir and includes three large digital displays.

While visiting the construction site Ms. Verma shared, "Stepping on this land makes me feel at home. I come from a humble background and feel connected to the Earth. The earth on this land feels different to me. It has a special energy I cannot describe. I hope I can serve as a part of this project. I am glad we visited this site, otherwise, our trip would have been incomplete."

Mr. Satyarth Srivastava felt the Mandir is "a historical landmark in the making...a true example of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam'."

Advocate Khushbu Agrawal noted, "The extraordinary and excellent part of the trip is to witness the journey of ideation to implementation virtually and on the ground." An executive present confessed "I was confused when first invited to visit the temple. I had animportant meeting. However, the experience here proved me wrong and I am happy that I chose to visit this place - it gives you positive vibes - a temple propounding religious harmony for the world."The Rivers of Harmony exhibit and the public reception will be open to the public by reservation.
