Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), School of Management Studies organised 5 days trip from 11^th March to 15^th March 2022 to DUBAI a GLOBAL Immersion Program as a part of NAAC & NBA requirement. This program was primarily for giving a global exposure in the area of business, entrepreneurship & employment opportunities for MBA Students.

A team of Four Faculties members and 45 Students participated in the global immersion program.

Students had attended a talk ‘Overview of Jobs in Dubai’ with Mr. K.Venkat, General Manager, Mycon, Dubai.

Dubai Expo visit was great success and students got an opportunity to learn the glimpse of various countries culture and business activities.  

An industrial visit was arranged with GLOBE LINK WESTAR Logistics.

A Practical Explanation was given by the Mr. GAUTAM BOSE, an Alumnus of IIMA CEO of Metafurn International FACO, GLOBE LINK WESTAR LOGISTCS COMPANY   who delivered a talk and explained the business environment that prevails in DUBAI, the ease of doing business ,the climate favorable for global investors to invest in DUBAI. It was an amazing experience for the visiting team of Management students under the guidance of Dr.PR Ramakrishnan Dean School of Management and Commerce, VISTAS.

Students interacted with the CEO .He explained the business strategy followed by his company and the Logistics and supply chain issues faced by the corporates in global. Market due to various international ramifications.

 Student got the insight of the corporate world and got enlightened about the Marketing, Cost control, Customisation strategy.

The visiting students thanked the CEO for his excellent delivery and torrential flow of Global strategy adopted by the Company, the corporate administration at the international level.

Mr. Paramartha Baruah, General Manager Globe link West Star Shipping Company gave the insights in shipping of various materials and container Management. It was a highly productive, and purposeful Industrial visit for the students.

The Students interacted with Mr. Karthick, Logistics Company in Dubai, he delivered a lecture on short term courses in logistics and placement opportunities.

At the end of the program, students had the exposure on foreign exchange, travel facilities export & Import procedures adopted in International & parts. Dubai Expo gave an opportunity to have a glimpse of culture & tradition across the globe in various countries. Placement opportunities for MBA students has really motivated many of our youngsters to look for opportunities across the border. Student outlook has become Global and International.
