Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, met with Ambassador His Excellency Saud Hasan Ali Al Nusuf, Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Council. 

The meeting held at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council was also attended by His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council; Mohammed Al Kamali, Board Member of the Dubai Sports Council; and Counselor Tariq Khalid Ibrahim from the Bahrain Consulate

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor and the Consul General discussed the close relations between the UAE and Bahrain in various sectors. They noted that their collaboration in the sports sector has resulted in many positive outcomes both for the region and the world.

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed praised the sporting achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain and said the cooperation between the Dubai Sports Council and sporting bodies in Bahrain has contributed to the development of sports in both countries as well as the region. The two countries will continue to work together to accelerate the development of the sector in the region, His Highness said.

His Excellency Saud Hasan Ali Al Nusuf, Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain, thanked HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed for the meeting and his words of praise and appreciation, as well as His Highness’s support for enhancing sporting cooperation between the two countries. Apart from fostering the development and success of sporting champions, the cooperation also brings broader benefits to the community in both countries, he noted.
