Dubai: Emirati fashion designer Mohammed Al-Seiari found his passion to reach excellence and achieving his dream in the world of designing sportswear. A “son of Zayed” in the land of development, excellence and beauty, Al-Seiari was able to innovate and establish the first Emirati brand specialized in sportswear, to compete with European products in the markets.

Talking about the idea of launching “Rzist”, the UAE sportswear brand, Al-Seiari explained that it was after a thorough study of the market and what the specific needs of Arab and GCC customers in particular, because there is no Arab brand specializing in sportswear that competes with international brands in terms of quality and innovative designs. He was prompted to enter this field and put an Arab footprint in sport fashion designs, which have witnessed great demand in the global and Arab markets since the launch of his brand, due to the aesthetics of his designs and using Arabic letters that adorned the unique pieces, through the use of a professional 3D technology.

Explaining the success factors behind his brand and how it was successfully launched, Al-Seiari confirmed that it was a result of the new idea and method. What started as an average cost product, became a brand that competes with key sports brands in the market, reflecting a growing need for new and more modern Arab ideas that serve a large segment of men and women alike. Rzist provides designs that specifically target Arab women, with the possibility of changing the length of the piece to suit each woman.

Al-Seiari is very happy with his enterprise and the success of his designs, which were worn by sports and art celebrities, including actress Sheikha Al-Majed, Asmahan Al-Naqbi, Munther Al-Mazki, Saeed Al-Rumaithi, and many others.

Al-Seiari focuses on supplying women's sport items, pointing out that Rzist provides special designs for women that are comfortable and suites women’s needs inside and outside homes. He explained that he is aware of the special customs and traditions of the Arab societies, and was eager to produce modest women's designs.

Design ideas are inspired and based on life requirements, and then Al-Seiari work on them before launching the new items to the market. He revealed that the new summer 2023 collection will be launched soon, to include distinctive colors and innovative cuts that will suit different segments of our society.
