Dubai: The Football Companies Week’s Events, organized by Dubai clubs under supervision of Dubai Sports Council, were successfully concluded with participation of more than 200 players & members of football companies along with the participation of 800 male & female school students on the days allocated for scouting of talents.

The events were organized from 6th Feb. to 5th March to develop the abilities of football companies of Dubai clubs in the organizational, technical, social & legal fields.

The one–month football companies’ events were held with participation of the football companies of Dubai’s four clubs; these are Al-Nasr, Al-Wasl, Shabab Al-Ahli & Hatta. Each football company hosted fruitful events throughout full week. The events comprised several activities & workshops besides joining of successful partnerships. 

In this regard, 14 workshops were organized, comprising 22 lectures which were held in the presence of more than 200 participants and dealt with various topics including the law of contracts, marketing, media, management (role & tasks of sports manager / administrative evaluation / governance), fiancé, medicine (first aids, nutrition, doping & medical tests).

The events were held in collaboration with several national corporations; the most eminent of which are: the UAE Football Association, Hemaya School (Dubai Police), National Olympic Committee (National Olympic Academy), Dubai Courts, Abu Dhabi Sports TV., Al-Emarat Al-Youm Newspaper, Galadari Driving Center, French International School, Amiens French Club, Hatta School 1, Hatta School 2, Hamdan Bin Rashid School in Dubai, Al-Qayyim School, Mohammed Bin Rashid School, Sharjah Model School for Primary Education, Dubai National School, Tadawi Hospital, Shorttrack Consulting and Administrative Studies Co., Abdullah Al-Mulla Auditing Co., Mohammed Al-Nuaimi Auditing Co., Spa Med Co. and Al-Masry Club. 

Al-Wasl Sports Club hosted the activities of the last week’s events; where two lectures were presented; the first of which was about governance in football companies – marketing & media, while the second lecture dealt with contracts in football companies.

A tour was held around Zabeel Stadium & memorial photos were captured with the first team’s players. A brief history of the club was presented and a film was displayed on the activities of the Football Academy. Players participated in sports competitions & entertaining games. Medical tests were conducted for players & parents who listened to awareness lecture on doping and its negative effect on athletes.

The football companies’ week is organized as part of DSC’s strategic plan to attain excellence & sports achievements through developing the abilities of Dubai sports clubs’ players & administrators.

 DSC continues to launch fruitful programs & initiatives in collaboration with various governmental & private sports entities aiming to develop the sports sector in general and the grassroots category in various sports in particular, since they are considered as the future champions who will represent the homeland in various international fields.
