Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children took part in the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference & Exhibition (DIHAD) 2023 to showcase its range of services provided for women and children, victims of violence and human trafficking.
Held from the 13th till the 15th of March at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event was launched under the theme "Energy and Aid; Capitalizing on Available Resources"  and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

At the exhibition, the foundation highlighted its proactive services, such as shelter and rehabilitation, health, education, legal support, the 800-111 helpline, and vocational rehabilitation for victims. By participating in DIHAD 2023, the foundation aimed to strengthen its influential presence and showcase its leadership in the field of humanitarian work.

HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, emphasized that "DIHAD 2023" exhibition is a valuable platform for showcasing the foundation's services to senior decision-makers involved in humanitarian causes. 

She highlighted the importance of the event in highlighting humanitarian issues and promoting cooperation between official and private entities and civil society organizations to achieve common goals and build a prosperous future for communities.

"As a leading institution in the field of noble humanitarian work, the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is keen to increase its visibility and showcase its services, as well as its accomplishments over the years, during the event.

Additionally, our participation has served with various advantages, such as strengthening collaborative ties with concerned humanitarian organizations, exchanging expertise, sharing experiences, and transferring Dubai's model, which has served as an inspirational example," Al Mansouri said.
