Emirates Journalists Association signs MOU with Bab Al Qasr Hotel

Dubai: The Emirates Journalists Association in Abu Dhabi signed this morning a cooperation agreement with the "Bab Al Qasr" hotel, aiming to provide benefits and discounts for holders of the Association's membership card, who are citizens and residents of the country.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Yahya Musa Bakr, CEO of Bab Al Qasr Hotel, and Mr. Hussain Al Mannai, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Journalists Association. The signing ceremony was attended by Hassan bin Omran Al Shamsi, treasurer of the association, Raed Al Shayeb, board member of the Journalists Association, Murshid Al Shamsi, protocol director, and a number of department directors at Bab Al Qasr Hotel.

The agreement provides facilities and discounts for members of the association, which includes 1,400 members of journalists working in various visual, print and audio media, and social media in the country, as the "Bab Al Qasr" hotel offers a discount of up to 20% on hotel rooms, and a discount of 25% on restaurants in the hotel. In addition to a 25% discount on Ayana Spa services inside the hotel.

Commenting on this agreement, Mr. Yahya Musa Bakr said: “We are pleased to contribute to the happiness of journalists and media professionals who are considered an important and influential segment of the UAE society, and to keep pace with the directions of the wise leadership that pays great attention to this group by providing all services that suit their practical and entertainment needs, including: For their comfort and that of their families.”

For his part, Hussein Al-Mannai, who is the head of the Tourism Media Committee in the association, said: “This agreement constitutes an important and distinguished beginning for a group of initiatives that fall within the strategy of the Journalists Association and aim to reward our colleagues working in various media outlets within the country for their efforts and their continuous keenness to uphold the leadership of UAE at all levels locally, regionally and globally.

Al-Mannai concluded his statement by saying: “Bab Al-Qasr Hotel is one of the luxurious hotels that provides its guests and guests with a rich variety of accommodation, hospitality and relaxation experiences, and we are all confident that this agreement will contribute to bringing more happiness and well-being to the hearts of the association’s members and their families.”
