Sharjah: In line with its forward-looking initiatives, Sharjah Police (SP) hosted a delegation from the American University of Sharjah (AUS), headed by Dr. Sohail Dahdal, Head of the AUS Department of Mass Communication, to strengthen collaboration on future foresight regarding security matters.

Colonel Dr. Sameh Al Halyan, Deputy Director of Strategy and Performance Development, welcomed the delegation, showcasing SP’s dedication to collaborative advancement in security foresight.

Captain Houriya Al Zarooni led a workshop for AUS students, presenting essential principles and techniques in future foresight. The session also showcased SP's Future Foresight Lab, which explores seven essential areas to enhance visionary policing and community well-being.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who conveyed their gratitude for the insights acquired, acknowledging its significance in furthering the collaborative project between SP and AUS.
