Abu Dhabi: The IGF Leaders Dinner, hosted at the stunning BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, brought together distinguished leaders from India and the Middle East for an evening of meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and curated networking. The Mandir, a masterpiece of intricate carvings depicting stories from ancient civilizations, symbolizes interfaith harmony and embodies the shared values of unity and cultural understanding between the UAE and India. In this context, the BAPS Hindu Mandir formed the perfect backdrop for a meaningful engagement of leaders from India and the Middle East.

Inaugurated earlier this year by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Mandir has become a celebrated landmark and a testament to the vision of strengthening ties between nations. The event was honored by the presence of Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, and Pujya Brahmavihari Swami of the BAPS Hindu Mandir.

Speaking on the occasion, Pujya Brahmavihari Swami remarked:
" Each and everyone of you are leaders in your own space, but I ask all of you to pause and give space to your heart and more importantly listen to its calling – through this practice you will rise even higher. 

Pujya Brahmavihari Swami went on to say: This Mandir is a shining example of what can be achieved through mutual trust and harmony. Its vision was inspired by the heartfelt prayers of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, brought to fruition by the boundless generosity of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and made a reality through the steadfast integrity of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Indian ambassador to the UAE Sunjay Sudhir highlighted the Mandir's cultural and spiritual significance, stating:

"This temple is not only one of the most visited sites in the UAE but also a symbol of harmony and visionary leadership, brought to life through the shared aspirations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."
Manoj Ladwa, Founder and Chairman of IGF, emphasized the theme of trust:
"Trust is the foundation of the flourishing India-UAE relationship and the bedrock of this great Mandir. It represents the harmony between humanity and nature that both nations aspire to uphold."

The evening also featured engaging discussions on holistic health, leadership, and community well-being, with contributions from notable figures such as Faisal Kottikollon, founder of Tulah, cultural and leadership expert Suhel Seth, and tennis legend Leander Paes.

Faisal Kottikollon advocated for revisiting ancient wellness practices, noting:
"Modern medicine views diseases in isolation, but we are a union of body, mind, and spirit. Ayurveda offers a path to holistic health."

Suhel Seth highlighted the role of spirituality in wellness advocacy, stating:
"Good health begins with a good soul. The BAPS Mandir reflects the Hindu way of life and serves as an oasis of spiritual healing in today's world. It is the truest oasis in this desert. Be it at a Mandir, Mosque or Church, at every moment, humanity needs spiritual healing ".

Leander Paes spoke about the unifying power of sports and the balance between cultures, saying: "Sports transcend barriers, and my dream is to inspire millions of children through this universal language. Success lies in balancing Western innovations with Eastern wisdom."

The IGF Leaders Dinner fostered impactful dialogues on forging future alliances, reinforcing the region’s commitment to progress and collaboration.

Held under the theme "Limitless Horizons," IGF ME&A 2024 has convened over 200 speakers and 1,000 participants from across India, the Middle East, and Africa. The event features exclusive networking opportunities, thought-provoking panels, and inspiring keynotes across nine streams, including global partnerships, technology, innovation, and sustainability.
