Dubai: DPIAF- NGO to Represent Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films in Dubai and Celebrate India’s National Flag at Burj Khalifa,Dubai.

In a groundbreaking move, DPIAF- NGO has become the first-ever organization to represent the legendary Shri Dada Saheb Phalke Ji outside of India. This historic moment took place in 2022 when the NGO honored Phalke Ji’s invaluable contributions to Indian cinema on a global stage in Dubai. This achievement marks a significant milestone in showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage internationally, making India’s cinematic legacy known to the world.

Celebrating India’s Republic Day at Burj Khalifa

In light of its ongoing cultural initiatives, DPIAF- NGO is organizing a special event to celebrate India’s Republic Day in Dubai. On January 24th, the NGO’s entire team, along with 100 participants, will gather at the iconic Burj Khalifa to salute the Indian flag in honor of India’s proud history. The flag hoisting ceremony will be accompanied by the rendition of *India’s national anthem, creating a powerful moment of unity and patriotism on foreign soil.

Award Show on January 23th

Before the Republic Day celebrations, DPIAF- NGO will host a grand Award Show on January 23th recognizing outstanding contributions to Indian culture, tourism, and other influential fields. This event is set to acknowledge individuals who have helped promote India’s heritage on the global stage.

Historic Flag Hoisting at Burj Khalifa

On January 24th DPIAF- NGO’s flag hoisting event at Burj Khalifa promises to be a historic spectacle. The Indian tricolor will flutter proudly against the stunning Dubai skyline as 100 participants salute the flag while the national anthem is played. This will be an unforgettable moment, as it brings together people from different parts of the world to celebrate India’s rich cultural legacy.

A Platform for Indian Cinema, Culture, and Tourism

A major highlight of this Dubai edition is Kalyanji Jana’s relentless efforts to promote Indian culture and tourism globally. Through DPIAF, he has created a platform where Indian cinema, traditions, and tourism are prominently featured in every event. 23th January 2025: DPIAF- Bharat Gaurav Icon Award International & DPIAF-Dubai & Bharat International Excellence Award*, alongside a spectacular *DPIAF- Bharat & UAE International Cultural Fashion Show. This will showcase the culture and tourism of  India’s 29 states and 7 Union Territories, as well as the *7 states of the UAE*. The fashion show will feature ramp walks by models wearing costumes representing different states of India, complemented by folk songs celebrating India’s cultural diversity.

31st December 2024–A grand New Year’s Eve Party, organized by DPIAF in Dubai, promising an unforgettable night of celebration and camaraderie.
