Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police and Chairman of the Supreme and Executive Leadership Council, presided over the Council’s regular meeting at the Officers Club. 

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Major General Hareb Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Sector Affairs, His Excellency Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Almuhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Financial and Administrative Sector Affairs, assistant commandants; directors of general departments and police stations; along with a number of senior officers.

At the outset, participants reviewed the decisions of the previous meeting, progress on their implementation, and the latest programmes and plans being rolled out across Dubai Police’s general departments and stations. They also discussed recent administrative developments.

Lieutenant General Al Marri and the Council members then received a briefing on the compliance results with the Criminal Complaints and Reports Manual, an overview of projects and initiatives completed in the first half of the year, updates on human rights-related matters, and a review of marketing reports.

In closing, Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri emphasised the importance of redoubling efforts across all departments and police stations to ensure the delivery of sustainable and high-quality services to the public. He stressed the need to handle observations with professionalism, finding appropriate solutions in line with approved regulations and policies, in order to safeguard community rights and uphold Dubai Police’s reputation.

He further affirmed that the spirit of teamwork embraced by Dubai Police personnel has been a key factor in achieving strategic goals, strengthening security and safety, and enhancing community happiness through continuous improvements in service quality.
