Dubai: As part of its firm commitment to empowering people of determination and promoting community inclusion, the Dubai Police, represented by the People of Determination Empowerment Council, has announced its participation in the seventh edition of the ‘AccessAbilities Expo 2025’. 

The event is scheduled for following Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will last until Wednesday.

This participation reflects Dubai Police's ongoing efforts to showcase the latest services, technologies, innovative equipment, and smart solutions designed to meet the needs of people of determination, both as employees and customers, in line with Dubai's vision of being a welcoming city for all individuals of determination.

Major Abdullah Hamad Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the People of Determination Empowerment Council, emphasized that participation in the AccessAbilities Expo genuinely reflects the vital role of Dubai Police in supporting and empowering people of determination. He noted that it also highlights the innovative initiatives launched in areas such as institutional inclusion, rehabilitation, and employment, demonstrating Dubai Police's steadfast commitment to fostering an inclusive and sustainable environment.

Al Shamsi stated, "Our presence at the AccessAbilities Expo represents a crucial opportunity to showcase the tangible achievements of Dubai Police in empowering this community, both within our internal work environment and in the public services we offer. We are committed to developing a comprehensive system that addresses diverse needs while promoting justice and equality through the adoption of best global practices.” 

Al Shamsi indicated that this participation provides a valuable opportunity for direct interaction with various local and international organizations, facilitating the exchange of experiences and insights into the latest global innovations in this field. Additionally, he highlighted that they will showcase several pioneering projects that embody these initiatives, along with inspiring success stories of employees with disabilities at Dubai Police who have excelled in various specialized roles.

Meanwhile, Major Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Police People of Determination Empowerment Council, confirmed that the council will showcase the smart solutions and technological initiatives developed by Dubai Police to enhance the quality of life for people of determination and ensure their full empowerment at all levels. He further stated that Dubai Police is fully committed to integrating people of determination into the workforce by providing a comprehensive digital and physical infrastructure that meets inclusive standards and effectively eliminates barriers in all forms.

Al Mazrouei reaffirmed Dubai Police's commitment to implementing flexible policies that accommodate various types of disabilities, along with offering specialized professional development programs aimed at training and empowering individuals in their specific fields and roles. He underscored that empowering people of determination is not merely an institutional responsibility; it is a meaningful investment in each individual, fostering a more inclusive and sustainable community.
