Dubai: Dubai Police continues to enhance the way it manages its resources to ensure long term sustainability and high-quality services for the community.

His Excellency Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Almuhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Financial and Administrative Sector Affairs, chaired a meeting of the Financial Sustainability Council, attended by assistant commanders and directors general.

During the meeting, Major General Almuhairi highlighted the importance of careful spending, smart planning, and exploring sustainable revenue opportunities to maintain financial balance. He stressed that efficient financial management plays a key role in supporting Dubai Police initiatives, improving performance, and ensuring services continue to meet public expectations.

He also emphasised the need for regular follow up through periodic reports to monitor progress and support informed decision making.

Majed Abdullah Saleh Al Aqili Al Nuaimi, Acting Director General of Finance, presented an overview of ongoing efforts to rationalise expenditure and promote a culture of efficiency. The presentation covered follow up mechanisms, outcomes of the Stars of Rationalisation programme, and initiatives aimed at improving policies, systems, and the optimal use of human resources in support of services and projects.
