Dubai: Dubai witnessed a notable diplomatic and business engagement as Dr. Bu Abdullah was honoured to welcome Niranjan Joseph De Silva Deva Aditya at his office, Bu Abdullah Investment, in Dubai.

Niranjan Deva Aditya is a prominent British politician and a long-standing member of the UK Conservative Party. He served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for South East England from 1999 to 2019, where he played an influential role in international relations, trade policy, and foreign affairs.

In 2022, Niranjan Deva Aditya was appointed by Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe as Senior Advisor and Presidential Envoy. In this role, his key objectives include promoting closer trade and economic links between Sri Lanka and Europe, the United Kingdom, and the wider Commonwealth.

The meeting in Dubai reflected the growing importance of international collaboration, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships between the Middle East, Europe, and South Asia. Discussions reportedly focused on global trade, investment prospects, and strengthening economic cooperation across multiple regions.
