Sharjah: Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, the Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, announced that the 15th edition of the Sharjah Light Festival is growing bigger and better this year. The festival is expanding to more locations, featuring new artistic performances and exciting light displays for everyone to enjoy across various cities in the emirate.
In an interview with “Sharjah 24”, Al Midfa highlighted that the Eastern Region is welcoming some fantastic new additions. One of the highlights is the Al Tayari Mosque in Dibba Al Hisn, which will now host its own light show. The organizers have also set up extra services and facilities to make sure visitors have a great experience. In Khor Fakkan, there will be special shows, including a stunning light display on the water at Khorfakkan Waterfall and innovative visuals projected onto the mountain face of Al Rafisah Dam, creating captivating sights.

For the first time, Kalba is introducing new venues like the Hanging Gardens, where unique displays emphasizing nature’s beauty will take place. Additionally, a spectacular light show nearly 40 meters long will be featured at Kalba Mall's waterfront, thanks to a partnership with the mall's management. This aims to offer visitors a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.

Al Midfa also praised the enthusiastic participation from the public at various festival locations, as well as the hard work from partners, sponsors, and organizers that make the Sharjah Light Festival a standout event in the emirate’s cultural and tourism calendar.

The festival lights up every day from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and it stays open until midnight on weekends, running until February 15, 2026.
