Dubai: Dubai Police is bringing its services and community initiatives closer to families with an interactive exhibition at Nad Al Sheba Mall, combining safety awareness, volunteering, police heritage and activities for children.

Organised by the General Department of Community Happiness, the “Your Security, Our Happiness” exhibition opened on Tuesday and continues until Thursday, welcoming visitors daily from 10am to 10pm.

Held in conjunction with the Year of the Family, the exhibition gives visitors an opportunity to meet Dubai Police representatives, learn about police services and initiatives and share their questions, feedback and observations directly.
Bringing Police Services Closer to the Community

Colonel Professor Dr Saud Al Rumaihi, Acting Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, said the exhibition reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to maintaining close communication with the community.

He explained that community events provide an opportunity to increase awareness of police services, strengthen feelings of safety and security and build closer connections with members of the public.

Visitors can also learn more about the work and responsibilities of Dubai Police and engage directly with representatives throughout the exhibition.

Find Your Next Volunteering Opportunity

One of the exhibition’s platforms introduces visitors to the Dubai Police Volunteering Platform, which provides opportunities for members of the public to participate in internal and external volunteering activities.

The exhibition also showcases the Your Neighbourhood Police initiative, which strengthens cooperation between police and community members in delivering and supporting local activities and initiatives.

A Look into Dubai Police History

Visitors can also discover a selection of items from the Dubai Police Museum, bringing a piece of the organisation’s history and heritage into the mall.

For younger visitors, the exhibition offers activities and games organised with Khalid Magazine, making the experience accessible and engaging for families.
