Dubai: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the One District One Product (ODOP) Odisha exhibition at Hotel Anantara in Dubai, showcasing the state’s rich diversity of traditional craftsmanship, handlooms, agricultural produce and culinary heritage on an international platform.

The exhibition highlights the distinctive identity of Odisha’s districts through a wide range of products. Among the key attractions are the intricate Silver Filigree of Cuttack, vibrant Pattachitra from Puri, Sambalpuri textiles from Sambalpur, Golden Grass products from Kendrapara, Dongria Shawls from Rayagada and Koraput Coffee.

The showcase also puts Odisha’s agricultural and food heritage in the spotlight, featuring products such as cashew, turmeric, honey and tamarind, along with millet-based products and traditional delicacies including Rasagola and Chhena Poda.

The exhibition seeks to provide Odisha’s artisans, farmers, producers and enterprises with greater exposure to international markets while promoting the state’s unique cultural and economic strengths.

The initiative celebrates Odisha’s heritage, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit and is expected to create new opportunities for its distinctive products in global markets. It also reinforces the vision of Vocal For Local and Make In India, connecting local products and traditional skills with a wider international audience.
