Dubai: Dubai’s Events Security Committee (ESC) has confirmed its readiness for two of the city’s major international events, with coordinated security plans in place for the Arab Media Summit 2026 and Arabian Travel Market 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Committee reviewed final preparations ahead of both events, focusing on ensuring smooth operations, efficient movement of visitors and participants, and a high level of security readiness throughout the venues.

Preparing for a Busy Week in Dubai

Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency and Chairman of ESC, chaired a coordination meeting at Dubai World Trade Centre with committee members and event organisers.

The meeting reviewed the latest preparations as well as approved security plans, procedures and measures for both events.
The arrangements are designed to strengthen readiness and response capabilities while ensuring close coordination between the different teams and entities involved.

A key priority is maintaining the smooth flow of operations and movement of visitors and participants, particularly as the two events are expected to attract audiences from within the UAE and overseas.

One Coordinated Security Effort

Brigadier Al Ketbi said continued coordination and cooperation between strategic partners are essential to the successful organisation of major events across Dubai.

He praised ESC members and teams working across administrative, organisational and field operations for their preparations.

Their coordinated efforts, he said, contribute to the UAE’s strong reputation for successfully hosting major international events.

Safe and Seamless Experience for Visitors

Brigadier Al Ketbi described the Arab Media Summit and Arabian Travel Market as two of Dubai’s prominent events, attracting visitors from both inside and outside the UAE. He directed all ESC members to maintain a high level of readiness for both events and facilitate the procedures associated with their organisation.
