Sharjah: The Sharjah Police has confirmed that an initial examination into the death of an Asian woman at her residence in one of the emirate’s areas found no apparent evidence of criminal activity.
The statement follows information circulating about the incident.

The Comprehensive Police Station began investigating the case after the Central Operations Room received a report that a woman had been found unconscious in a residence.

Security teams and specialised units immediately proceeded to the location, in coordination with National Ambulance teams, to respond to the report and take the necessary measures. The woman was transported to hospital in an attempt to save her life, but she later died.

The initial examination of the scene found no apparent evidence of criminal activity. The Public Prosecution was notified and directed that the deceased’s body be referred to forensic medicine to complete the required legal procedures and investigations in accordance with approved protocols.

Sharjah Police said the prompt and coordinated response to the report reflects the readiness and efficiency of its security teams in handling various incidents. This includes their rapid arrival at the scene, securing the location, conducting detailed field examinations, and coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure proper procedures and to establish the circumstances of incidents accurately and transparently.

The Sharjah Police urged members of the public and media organisations to exercise caution and accuracy, refrain from circulating unverified information or pre-empting the findings of investigations and medical reports, and obtain information about the incident from official sources.
