Dubai: Tickets for passenger services between Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Etihad Rail are now available for booking, ahead of the official launch of the Dubai station on September 30, 2026.

Passengers can book tickets through the Etihad Rail website and mobile app, with fares for journeys from Dubai to Abu Dhabi starting at Dh39 per person.

The first passenger train from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is scheduled to depart at 6:15am on September 30.

Dubai Station to Open on September 30

The Dubai station, officially named Al Yalayis Station, will open on September 30 alongside Al Dhaid Station in Sharjah, expanding Etihad Rail's passenger network.

Located in Jumeirah Golf Estates near Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Al Yalayis Station provides convenient access to several major residential and commercial communities, including Al Furjan, Dubai Investment Park and Dubai South.

The launch marks another step in the development of the UAE's national railway passenger network, connecting major cities and communities across the country.

With ticket bookings now open, residents and visitors can plan journeys between Dubai and Abu Dhabi ahead of the September 30 launch.
