Jeddah: An Indian delegation has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 6th Haj Conference and Exhibition 2027, sign the Bilateral Haj Agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and review preparations for Haj 2027.

The delegation was warmly welcomed at the airport by Shri Fahad Suri, Consul General of India in Jeddah.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to take part in key discussions and engagements aimed at strengthening coordination between India and Saudi Arabia for the upcoming Haj pilgrimage.

The discussions will focus on reviewing preparations and ensuring a smooth, safe and comfortable Haj journey for all Indian pilgrims undertaking the pilgrimage in 2027.

The signing of the Bilateral Haj Agreement is expected to be an important part of the visit, outlining arrangements and cooperation between the two countries for Haj 2027.

The visit reflects India's continued commitment to working closely with Saudi authorities to facilitate a well-organised and hassle-free pilgrimage experience for Indian Haj pilgrims.
