Sharjah:Heart of Sharjah will be hosting a special celebration for Kuwait National Day this weekend, Friday, February 28.  In a bid to engage the UAE’s multicultural community in activities that will offer them  an insight into Kuwait’s and the Gulf region’s rich traditions. The quaint Souq Al Shanasiyah in the Heart of Sharjah has planned an exciting evening filled with activities for visitors of all age groups. 

The event will be taking place in the attendance of H.E. Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), and the Consul General of Kuwait, H.E. Theyab Farhan Al Rashidi. 

Along with collaborating organisations, Heart of Sharjah has designed a packed itinerary comprising of cultural performances, a variety of fun and educational workshops for children, traditional Kuwaiti games, various competitions, and a raffle draw to win two free air tickets to Kuwait sponsored by the event’s official carrier Air Arabia. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample a variety of traditional foods and beverages on the special occasion.
