Dubai Police Graduation Ceremony Scores 10 Million Views

The recently-held graduation ceremony and carnival of the 27th batch of Dubai Police Academy at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, has achieved record results in the number of followers and viewers on social media channels as well as the scale of media coverage across different media outlets. 

The event, which was attended by the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also witnessed remarkable interaction from members of the public and online users with more than 10 million views on various social media platforms.

The event's promotional materials and highlights on social networking sites also recorded 5,853,713 followers; this includes 1,706,831 followers on Facebook, 524,370 followers on Instagram, 19,795 followers on Twitter, and 339,956 views through Snapchat. The event also came up in 121,448 searches through Google and 3,081,313 views across e-shopping websites.

The General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police promoted the event through eight different channels: The Dubai Police's App by sending a notification alerts to 2,369,606 users, the seven Smart Police Stations (SPS) across Dubai, the Dubai Police's corporate email, as well as sending emails to registered customers at the General Department of Traffic Police, and to 153,000 Esaad cardholders and the employees of Dubai Government.

The event also featured various marketing activities through Dubai Police e-signature platform, the Dubai Police intranet website, 107 billboards across eight major roads and shopping centres in Dubai namely; the World Trade Centre, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Outlet Mall, cinema outlets, the Dubai Frame, the Arabian Centre.
The event was also promoted and live broadcasted by six TV and radio channels affiliated to the DMI (Dubai Media Incorporated) through broadcasting 360 promotional messages across radios and 185 TV ads. 

Excellence and Creativity 
PhD Major General Mohammad Ahmed Bin Fahad, Assistant Commander-in-chief for Academic and Training Affairs, hailed the efforts of the organizing teams who worked with full intent and energy to present the graduation ceremony in a way that is up to the prestigious reputation of the Dubai Police Academy. 

"With the wise instructions and follow up from H.E Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Police Academy Board, the graduation ceremony proved to be extraordinary and achieved the Dubai Police vision that based is on excellence and creativity", Bin Fahad said. 


A Proud Message
The director of Dubai Police Academy, Dr Brigadier Ghaith Ghanim Al Suwaidi, praised the hard work of all teams who contributed to the success of the graduation ceremony of the 27th batch of cadet officers. 

"The ceremony succeeded to deliver the academy's message to the world. With all of the positive comments on all videos, photos and news that were widely circulated through the social media platforms, the ceremony has proven to be a huge success", Dr Al Suwaidi added. 

"Celebrating the graduation of our cadets this year comes in line with the Dubai vision towards the next 50 years as declared by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to prepare the emirate for the upcoming challenges and changes", the director of Dubai Police Academy continued. 

"This is the first time we held the graduation ceremony outside the academy premise since its establishment in 1987," Dr Al Suwaidi confirmed. 

It worth noting that the Dubai Police graduation ceremony of the 27th batch of cadet officers featured the world's first 6D shows alongside several entertaining live shows and parades.
