Dubai:The Dubai Police has recently honoured two policemen for their efforts and dedication in red-handedly catching a suspect and lending a hand to a member of the public in distress. 

The honouring ceremony was attended by Lt. Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who awarded 1st Corporal Ahmad Muhammad Ahmad for helping a bus driver whose vehicle malfunctioned in the middle of the road, and honoured policeman Marwan Al Muamari for arresting a suspect while attempting to smuggle contraband into the detention centre at the Al Qusais police station.    

Lt. Gen Al Marri presented certificates of thanks and appreciations to the mindful officers in recognition of their efforts and dedication to work, stressing that the honour is within the force’s vision to motivate and encourage staff members to provide high-quality services and ensure our society’s safety and happiness.
 
From their part, the honourees extended their thanks to Lt. Gen Al Marri and to the Dubai Police General Command, stressing that this recognition is a badge of honour on their chests and an incentive for them to exert more efforts in the future.
