Dubai:Exclusive sneakers, designer stilettos, and the slickest shoe designs ever made delighted fans of footwear fashion at the Shoetopia event, held in collaboration with The Dubai Mall. Taking place at The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Catwalk until 30 January as part of the final week of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), Shoetopia brought together industry insiders, stylish influencers as well as streetwear aficionados to celebrate the latest designer releases, future trends and much more.

Visitors to the mega event were able to view exclusive shoe collections belonging to some of the most famous and fashionable footwear experts and style stars, with iconic and hard to find shoes on display next to much-loved looks from the world’s biggest brands.

Exclusive releases of in-demand sneakers and other styles will take place throughout Shoetopia, with shoppers able to hear first-hand from connoisseurs and fashion experts at a series of fun and informative Shoetopia Live workshops held alongside key retailers in The Dubai Mall, including American Rag Cie, Bloomingdale’s and Level Shoes.

During the first weekend of Shoetopia Karen Wazen, the region’s leading fashion influencer and entrepreneur, gave a talk about the transformative power of footwear and what it takes to elevate a shoe to cultural icon status, while a special workshop discussed how 3D printing technology is the future for the footwear industry and fans also caught a first glimpse of Adidas’ new Stan Smith shoe made from recycled materials.

Shoetopia Live events will continue each day with a wide range of experts and local style heroes set to explain the secret to spotting the next shoe crazes and more. Visitors can personalise and customise their own unique shoe designs at a host of interactive pop-ups, shop for the latest looks using a QR code and win in-demand shoes. Customers who visit the Shoetopia stand can earn double Emirates Skywards Miles when they shop the latest shoe trends.

Shoetopia is part of the diverse range of retail and entertainment options available during DSF, which is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
