Dubai Police Privilege Card ‘Esaad’ turns 3

Dubai:On their third anniversary, the ‘Esaad’ Committee revealed that, since its launch on March 13th of 2018 until the end of 2020, ‘Esaad’ achieved a financial saving of AED 325,939,251 through signing agreements and memoranda of understanding with many commercial, educational, entertainment, tourism, health, and hospitality institutions.

‘Esaad’ Committee said they even exceeded their main goal of achieving happiness for cardholders and their families, by providing 66 exclusive and distinctive humanitarian community initiatives and offers worth AED 27,156,000 to people of determination, high school achievers, and the first line of defence against COVID-19 heroes.

The Committee further explained that 276 government and semi-government entities have joined ‘Esaad’ with more than 164,000 employees, who and their first-degree family members can benefit from the card’s 6,616 offers across 59 countries.

Recognition

Her Excellency Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi, the Minister of State for Government Development and the Future in the UAE, praised the 'Esaad' Committee for their efforts in securing a motivating and empowering environment for the employees, and for playing a key role in expanding the scope of the program to include employees of the federal government.

"The inclusion of the federal government employees to Essad membership is part of the government's endeavour to support its employees and affect positively on their work performance," H. E Al Roumi added.

The Minister of State for Government Development and the Future also lauded the role of the Executive Council and the Dubai Police General Command in strengthening the integration between the public and private entities, stressing the keenness of the UAE Government on providing a positive and motiving work environment that constantly enhances employees' performance and productivity.

Impressive Outcomes

His Excellency Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of The Executive Council, hailed the 'Esaad' committee for their efforts in promoting employees' happiness and increasing their satisfaction, noting that the Committee has achieved remarkable accomplishments in various humanitarian initiatives transcending the exclusive offers and discounts.

"Enhancing employees' satisfaction is one of the Dubai Government's priorities that aims at reinforcing the satisfaction notion as one of the key work values," H. E Al Basti confirmed.

"Esaad reflects the Dubai government's keenness to achieve absolute happiness and satisfaction for its employees by fostering an environment that encourages creativity and excellence.  The fundamental pillars contribute to increase and boost productivity and improve corporate loyalty," H. E Al Basti added.

New Approach

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said that the force has launched various initiatives in response to the UAE Government objectives to ensure the highest levels of community happiness.

"Esaad Card is a successful example of Dubai Police endeavour toward this goal. The initiative initially targeted the Dubai Police employees exclusively. However, once it showed evident results in achieving its objectives, it was enthusiastically sought by government and semi-government entities," Lt. Gen. Al-Marri added.

"Esaad presents a new approach in enhancing corporate loyalty among employees, raising satisfaction rate and improving the work environment which reflects directly on productivity and performance as well as on delivering satisfactory services for members of the public," Lt. Gen. Al-Marri continued.

"We are forever committed to supporting and encouraging creative ideas that improve people's lives and ensure their happiness," the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police concluded.

Employees Happiness

H.E. Humaid Rashid Humaid Al Shamsi, the Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, praised the Esaad Committee efforts and their keenness on ensuring employees' satisfaction by providing them and their first-degree relatives the best offers and discounts.

H.E. Al Shamsi confirmed that Esaad contributes to enhancing Umm Al Quwain government efforts and supports its objectives that seek to ensure employees' happiness, provide a motivating and attractive work environment, increase job satisfaction and improve the quality of life.

H.E. Al Shamsi extended his appreciation to Dubai Police and the 'Essad' Card Committee for their continuing efforts to ensure happiness for employees across the UAE.

New Incentive

H.E Dr Mohamed Abdullatif Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, said that the 'Esaad' initiative has many financial benefits for its cardholders, as well as a significant positive impact on the happiness, productivity and corporate loyalty of employees.

H. E Khalifa thanked Dubai Police for their tireless efforts in expanding the circle of partnerships and upgrading 'Esaad' benefits and offers, noting that the Card plays an effective role in reducing the cost of living and becomes a sophisticated mean of motivation.

Challenging Year

Mona Mohammed Al Ameri, Chairperson of the 'Esaad' Card Committee, confirmed the Committee's achievements would not have happened without the directives and constant follow-up of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. "Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, the 'Esaad' team maintained the same pace, secured more financial savings and contributed to revitalizing the commercial progress in the country," she said.

Al Ameri also pointed out that the Committee has adopted diversity in its activities, social, and humanitarian initiatives. She stressed that the year 2021 would witness a new start for the ‘Esaad’ card locally and internationally, and it would be the beginning of a new challenge.
