UAE: The maiden edition of Indywood Startup Awards 2021, organized by Aries International Maritime Research Institutre (AIMRI) powered by Indywood Billionaires Club, successfully concluded on April 16, 2021. The award ceremony was conducted virtually. The event was conceptualized by EFFISM and organized by Biz Events Management.

On occasion,Founder President of Indywood Billionaires Club, Dr.Sohan Roy, stated, “I am extremely overwhelmed with the response we received for our maiden edition.The competition was extremely tough since all the entries received were equally good. Finally, we were able to identify some unique, innovative startups that are sure to create a revolution in their respective industries.”

150 entries received for awards this year, out of which top 20 startups identified and honored. The Jury also identified the top 6 contenders for the next stage of strategic partnerships with Indywood Billionaires Club. These include Education Startup of the Year (Futuristic Skill Training Provider) - RobotGuru Education Technologies Pvt Ltd, Technology-based Startup of the Year (Advanced Marine Technology Provider) - EyeROV (IROV Technologies Private Limited), Social Impact Startup of the Year - AllAbout Innovations (WOLF), Innovative Startup of the Year - iBoson Innovations Private Limited, Promising Startup of the Year (E-commerce platform for Homemade Brands) - Garga M-Commerce, and Education Startup of the Year (Online Teaching Solution Provider) - Tutorhow Scientific Edutech Pvt Ltd.

Out of the top selected six startups, WOLF AIRMASK, India’s first revolutionary “Ion based Airmask,” successfully tested on the SARS-COV-2 virus (COVID-19), has signed an investment deal with Aries Group, the multinational consortium based in the Middle East.
