Dubai: The Dubai Police General Command has recently held the fourth session of the 'Let's Talk' initiative at the Expo 2020's DP World Pavilion and hosted Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, the UAE Minister of State for Advanced Technology, to deliver her speech on the significant role of technology for the UAE's next fifty years. 

Dubai Police launched the initiative to create a platform and free space to communicate with the public through a series of lectures held monthly throughout the "Expo 2020 Dubai" period.

The Minister's speech was witnessed by Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafie, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Major General Ali Al Shamali, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, and other senior officers.

H. E Al Amiri opened her speech by appraising Dubai Police's efforts to adopt digital, technological and smart solutions to offer UAE's citizens outstanding services and ensure their happiness. 

The Minister highlighted the importance of advanced technology and the fourth industrial revolution to promote economic diversification. She discussed the Champions 4.0 Network, the first-of-its-kind programme, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in response to the government's Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Strategy. 

Toward the end of the session, Maj. Gen. Rafie presented Her Excellency with a memorial shield to express the force's appreciation for her efforts and participation in the initiative.
